Software Page 2   page 1

Flight simulation: There are a few good flight simulators out there, like X-Plane to name one, but MS Flight Sims are the most complete. The current version's (sometimes referred to as FS9) air traffic control, AI (artificial intelligence aircraft), world wide scenery, GPS system, and built in training are unmatched so far.
The add-on software available for scenery, planes, and adventures are plentiful and growing every day. Just check out the links page for some good recources.

All the rest: Once again there is a plethora of choices out there for just about any software. For example, Fireworks instead of Photoshop, Corel Draw for Illustrator, Go Live in place of Dreamweaver, and so on. The complexity and learning curve of these programs is so steep you have to pick one and (try) to master it. You may dabble in the others, and there may be some features that you like better than the other, but unless you plan to live for 200 years or so, you really must pick one. I have many of these programs and believe me it is not possible to know them all!

These icons are for the majors in the business. Check'em out!
I don't really advocate one for the other. All of these companies have their good points and bad points. Individual tech support that is priced reasonably is non existant. Getting properly trained is no bargain either. It is a great feeling, however, once you get the hang of it.
